Attention Schreiber residents!
Council has passed Bylaw 35-2024, a water conservation policy mandated by the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MOECP). This new bylaw is aimed at preserving our water resources and ensuring sustainable usage for our community.
๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ง๐จ๐ฐ:
- The bylaw includes regulations to help conserve water.
- Monetary fines may apply if the bylaw is not followed.
Weโll be launching an education campaign early in the new year, including school programs and public forums, to help everyone understand the bylaw and how to comply.

The Township of Schreiber has submitted Bylaw 21-2023 to the Registrar, Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002, Bereavement Authority of Ontario for the cemeteries known as
Schreiber Cemetery and Worthington Bay Cemetery
The Bylaw is not effective until the Registrar approves it.

The Bylaw may be reviewed or copied at 204 Alberta Street, Schreiber.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PASS BYLAW
FOR 2023 BUDGET ALLOCATIONS
Please take notice that the Council of the Township of Schreiber intends to pass a Bylaw to adopt
the 2023 estimates of revenues and expenses for the 2023 budget year.
The 2023 Budget Bylaw will be considered at a Public Meeting to be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday,
June 27, 2023, in the Municipal Complex Council Chamber located at 204 Alberta Street, Schreiber, Ontario during the Council Meeting.
A copy of the proposed Bylaw may be examined at the Municipal Office, 204 Alberta Street, Schreiber, Ontario. Please contact the Treasurer, Marlene Bottomley, should you have questions regarding the Bylaw.
A letter outlining your comments may be provided to the Clerk prior to the meeting. Your name and address are required to be included in the letter. Letters will be read at the meeting.
